Wowie, Zowie! I am so far behind on my Holiday preparations this year I don't know how far behind I am!! If that makes sense to you then you must be chasing your tail just like me!
BUT I do love this time of year because I get to do a LOT of paper crafting and the more I do the more I realize that I really love to stamp, cut, paint, paste and all of that genre.
Each day I have looked forward to going up to my studio, in the morning especially, and making some Christmas cards or knocking out a few gift tags and just brainstorming what I will do when the Holidays are over and I have some free time once again!!
Last week I made two glove box organizer's out of these plastic photo portfolio holders - one for my sister, Margaret, and one for my daughter, Meghan. They embody the whole paper crafting genre because you and make them clean and neat or you can go shabby chic or go altered art or whatever you wish. I made these two out of Stampin' Up! Simply Scrappin' sets because they go together fairly quickly since the pieces all have adhesive backing.
It is all such fun!

So, today it is a paper crafts day.... working on Christmas card designs - need to upload cards that are done so i can remember what i have done from year to year.
I have a really neat idea for storing embellishments that i want to make for a few of my paper crafts friends. Basically it is similar to a sewing storage kit that i once received but much simpler (like it won't have a handle or anything fancy like that -- too many to make to be fancy). It will be like a mini-album that i will embellish the front with machine stitching and then sew in freezer ziploc bags (quart i think). I would like to put a label on the bags but not sure how to do it yet. Wouldn't that be great to store those little pieces that go everywhere, especially if you are a traveling scrapbooker??
It is really cold and nasty out today and i would like to just stay home and play in my studio but i have a dr. appt and then we're going over to Meghan's house to help them install garage door openers -- well, i will be the baby watcher since Meghan will be working and someone has to do it...

Intro Post - I love it ALL!!!
I have to confess - I have a real problem.... I just can't pick one craft that I like because I just love to create in so many mediums. Whether I am sewing on my machine, doing hand sewing work, rubber stamping or doing altered books, making a collage or dyeing cotton and silk and soon-to-be dyeing wool.... I LOVE ALL OF IT!!!
